This service has been specifically tailored to meet the intentions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the risk assessment component of a company’s safety management programme (focused on Life and/ or Assets protection).

Both full and limited scope fire risk assessments are undertaken.

Full workplace fire risk assessments take into consideration life and property risks and include assigning a risk category to each assessment area, and a review of the fire safety measures in place; This includes a review of fire safety policies, procedures and records on a sample basis.

Limited scope risk assessments are also undertaken for specific risks or focus areas such as means of escape, storage and use of flammable liquids and gases, adequacy of portable fire equipment, passive fire protection measures and fire detection, alarm and suppression provisions.

A unique reporting system is used which includes provision for managing the implementation of risk improvement recommendations. Reports can be tailored to meet a client’s specific needs, where necessary.

Post assessment support to help address any findings or recommendations further enhances the value of this service.
